Awakening Change Therapy (ACT) is a transpersonal self-help tool to overcome any personal or professional problems. ACT has been developed by Vanessa Emile and it uses hypnotherapy and integrates psychotherapy. ACT awakens the repressed memories, events, feelings and thoughts buried deep in the layers of the conscious, unconscious and the collective conscious mind. ACT uses the inner conscious to get between the layers of the mind to overcome all of our life problems. ACT has helped countless people suffering with chronic depression, anxiety and long standing emotional and physical pain. Some people have experienced they have stopped cravings for food, alcohol, gambling and even Class A drugs, such as Cocaine. Many have removed stomach and back/neck pains, skin, yeast and urine infections, fertility problems and eczema as well as reduce sugar levels of those suffering with diabetes. Others have seen changes in their job, improvements in their financial situations as well as experience better relationships, improved self esteem and confidence. In addition, ACT can be used to find practical answers to everyday major and minor problems, and is highly effective in aiding personal self-development. With ACT you need to enter into your “inner conscious” that will enable you to understand the root cause of your situation or problem, and where it has originated from. You will then carry out some simple tasks guided by your inner conscious to change and take appropriate control of your life, your body and all your affairs. The ACT process allows you to face the shadows and archetypes we most often fear, whether we have created them, or whether it has been programmed by our unconscious, or even passed from the generations of collective conscious energies. ACT allows you to enter your storehouse of information, and become conscious of the full impact and influences of all our experiences, behaviours and most specifically the emotional one’s that hinder our mind, body or affairs. This is also where the change takes place that promotes immediate self actualisation. From the very first session you will experience improvements, if not a complete change. ACT needs fewer sessions than you would normally with other therapeutic methods, and can be learnt in a few hours to enable you to progress on your own. In developing and finding a solution to the life problems we experience, ACT has been influenced by Milton Ericsson (Hypnotherapy), Roberto Assigioli (Psychosynthesis), Carl Gustav Jung (Psychoanlysis), Richard Bandler and John Grinder (NLP), and also Phyllis Krystal’s book, Cutting the Ties that Bind”. Jung felt that, if you want to understand the jungle, “you can't be content just to sail back and forth near the shore. You've got to get into it, no matter how strange and frightening it might seem”. ACT is the same, you need to get into the process of the therapy and go through to completion, and yes, initially it will seem strange and frightening, and at other times it can feel so liberating, empowering and profound. If you are open, and have a desire to change your life, only you have
the power within yourself to take control of your mental, emotional and
life situation, so why not give yourself a chance to live the life you
now want to live? ACT’s presupposition is “you have created your experience therefore, you can also un-create it”. |
