More information about ACT

As mentioned earlier ACT has been developed by Vanessa and she has since refined the process to now offering ACT as a therapeutic tool that achieves results where no other treatments have been successful. It was found one day six years ago whilst working with her niece on a very stubborn physical neck and back problem that Vanessa had suffered for over 15 years.

Vanessa has since worked using the ACT process extensively on her own personal issues and with members of her family and friends. Each time the ACT process has achieved results. She has since worked therapeutically with over 89 clients using the ACT process, and has achieved 100% success”.

ACT maximises all that you have, the only tool you will need is already yours and this is the phenomenal power of your own mind. ACT underlies the principle that an individual seeking help knows the solution to his or her problem at one or all three subconscious levels. The ACT works in such a manner that the individual will find the solution in a way that works best for them, whether that be through language, auditory or visual methods. ACT uses the person’s strongest sensory perceptions and at the same time strengthens those that are weak and makes those that are strong, even stronger.

In seeking a solution sometimes the ACT process will make no logical sense to the problem or obstacles in the way, and other times it will be clear and as simple as ABC. During some sessions you may sometimes feel hurt, sad, become angry and, experience both emotional and physical pain. It often can touch on painful memories, and events, which to heal can be distressing; one should be prepared for this prior to the session.

The simple ACT process and its minimum eliciting questioning method is compacted in such a way that it allows the client to provide basic or no information to the therapist if they so wish; the whole process can be carried out internally within the mind of the clients if they so wish.

The ACT process is carried out in a very semi-light hypnosis trance enabling your body and mind to relax completely. The strongest sensory perception of the individual would be elicited and used initially. Sometimes, some people see, hear and feel all at once and others only work with just one of their sensory perceptions. During the process you may feel physical or emotional pain and other times, nothing or feel a great relief, excitement or just amazed.

No matter what depths of sadness, depression, confusion or predicament you may experience during the session, it is important to remember that this is only for a few minutes, and its better to deal with it during the session rather than keep experiencing it for the rest of your life. Would it not be wonderful to leave a therapy session and experience no physical or emotional pains ever again, but feel light, happy and healthy?

Through the use of your own mind, the ACT process will broaden your thinking, widen your horizons and stretch your imagination and there is no limit to what you can achieve. Given ACT the time you will no doubt experience a positive difference.

This therapeutic process is life changing and you can experience the transformation taking place immediately. You will also know what else needs to be dealt with if anything is still left unresolved that relates to the particular issue in hand.

Once the ACT process is completed the change is radical and permanent in overcoming any health or life condition you may be experiencing. The benefits of ACT is limitless.
